LOS ANGELES–(BUSINESS WIRE)–Herbalife (NYSE: HLF), a global nutrition company, congratulates Heather Jackson and Tine Holst on capping their incredible 2016 performances at the Ironman World Championship in Kailua-Kona, Hawaii. Jackson who trains in Bend, Oregon finished in third place with a record time of 9 hours, 11 minutes and 32 seconds. The talented athlete has won 3 triathlons this year, including a record-setting performance at Ironman Lake Placid triathlon in July. Last year, which was her first at the championship in Kona, Jackson finished fifth with, a time of 9:21:45. This year, Jackson dominated her specialty of bicycling, where she completed the 112-mile leg in 5:00:31 minutes.
Holst came to Hawaii following a win with a time of 10:02:35 at the Ironman Lanzarote in Spain, one of the toughest Ironman competitions, and a strong second place finish at the Austrian Ironman 70.3 earlier this year. The determined athlete from Denmark was well positioned to finish strong at the World Championships. She finished in a record time of 9 hours, 48 minutes and 43 seconds putting her in 21st place across the finish line.
