PHOENIX, Ariz.–(BUSINESS WIRE)–Jeff Bell, Chief Executive Officer of LegalShield, one of North America’s leading providers of affordable legal plans and identity theft solutions for individuals, families and small businesses, joined a panel session of legal experts on Thursday, May 18 at the Group Legal Services Association (GLSA) annual education conference in Phoenix, Arizona. The session, titled “State of the Industry: What’s Next?”, kicked off the first day of the conference, which focuses on providing lawyers involved in the legal services plan industry, with education, support and collaboration so that they may focus on the practice of law rather than the marketing of their law practices.

GLSA is a Chicago-based nonprofit, ABA-affiliated membership association for those involved in the legal services plan industry, which delivers legal services to a broad range of clients. Members are committed to providing affordable access to legal services.
The industry panel featured Bell and several other members of the GLSA including Dan Lear, Director of Industry Relations at Avvo; Brian Caron, General Counsel and Vice President of Hyatt Legal Plans; Jean Clauson, Provider Relations Recruiting Manager at ARAG North America; Allen Rodriguez, CEO of ONE400; Ralph Vernassal, Head of Attorney Services at Rocket Lawyer; and John Wachsmann, managing attorney at Wachsmann & Associates. The discussion focused heavily on how technology impacts equal access to justice.
