International cosmetics brand Mary Kay recently announced its acceptance of entries for the 2015 Dream Beautiful Contest.
In its third year, the glamorous beauty contest is a regional makeover competition that aims to crown the next Face of Beauty and Best Beauty Artist in Mary Kay Asia. The contest encourages women to discover their beauty by teaming up with Mary Kay Independent Beauty Consultants.
“At Mary Kay, our vision is to enrich women’s lives, helping them to discover their beauty inside and out! Unlike any model or makeup contest in the world, this contest focuses on partnership and is a way to transform the lives of thousands of women across Asia and make their dreams a reality. We encourage all women to bring their confidence, step onto the catwalk, and makeover their world,” Mary Kay Asia Pacific President, K.K. Chua said.
The competition is set to draw thousands of pairs from nine countries across Asia Pacific, including Australia, China, Hong Kong, Korea, Malaysia, New Zealand, the Philippines, Singapore, and Taiwan. Mary Kay Independent Beauty Consultants enter the contest with their customer to form a pair. They will first face-off with teams from their home countries before moving forward to a weeklong regional grand finale to be held in Hong Kong in February 2016.
In the Philippines, 25 semi-finalists will be chosen and from the batch, three will be announced to represent the country in Hong Kong. The representatives will be selected in a presentation on December 12.
Three exceptional contestants will be crowned as the new faces of Mary Kay in the Asia Pacific Region while each of their Mary Kay Independent Beauty Consultant will bring home the title as Makeup Artists of the Year in the Mary Kay Asia Pacific Region. The best of the three will receive the distinction of becoming the Best of the Best Makeup Artist in the region.
