USANA Takes Home Two Major Awards at the 2016 DSA Annual Meeting

SALT LAKE CITY, June 14, 2016 /PRNewswire/ — USANA is proud to announce that its charitable organization — the USANA True Health Foundation (THF) — was presented the Vision for Tomorrow award in the philanthropy category at the 2016 Direct Selling Association (DSA) annual meeting. The global nutritional company was also named to the Top 20 list of direct selling companies by the DSA — which is based on its 2015 U.S. net sales and is open exclusively to DSA members. USANA was also named to the Top 20 list in 2013 and 2014.

“The USANA True Health Foundation is thrilled to receive the Vision of Tomorrow award as it inspires our organization to continue the work it’s doing to relieve suffering and hunger around the world,” said Deb Jordan, president of the USANA True Health Foundation. “Through donations, our worldwide programs are aimed at providing critical necessities — nutrition, clothing, shelter, medical assistance and health education.”

In March 2012, USANA launched the THF, a nonprofit organization that provides help to those in need all over the world. This past year, USANA’s True Health Foundation accomplished the following:

Provided $600,000 in meals across Eastern Europe, Asia, Australia, Latin America, Haiti, Nepal and the United States.
Supplied $225,000 in disaster aid, vaccines and water purification tablets to Malaysia, the Philippines and victims of the earthquakes in Nepal.
Distributed $87,192 in materials to help rebuild fishing boats to those affected by Typhoon Yolanda.
