LIMU is expanding its presence in Asia with the opening of three new markets. The nutrition company has announced plans to launch in Singapore, Malaysia and Hong Kong on Nov. 16.
The forthcoming expansion will build on the company’s established operations in Japan and Taiwan. Florida-based LIMU markets juices, energy drinks, and weight-loss products containing Fucoidan, a seaweed known for its anti-inflammatory and anti-viral properties.
“Powerful momentum and tremendous interest in LIMU’s amazing product line is driving success in all of our key markets, and we know that our strategic positioning in the Pacific Rim countries will capitalize on the growing international demand for our product and the LIMU Experience,” CEO Gary J. Raser said in a statement.
In its home market, LIMU has been reaching out to Latino consumers through LIMU LATINO, a business development initiative launched in 2014. The company is building a foundation for expansion into additional Latin American markets. In a statement, LIMU said it currently is pursuing entry into Mexico, Colombia, Peru, Chile and Ecuador.
