A new president has been named to lead the efforts of the USANA True Health Foundation. Effective immediately, Deb Jordan, a nonprofit executive of more than 25 years, will run the global 501(c)(3) organization.
“I am thrilled to head up this wonderful foundation, which gives 100 percent of every dollar to outstanding organizations all over the world,” Jordan said. “I look forward to raising even more funding to help save the lives of those suffering or in need.”
The charity pro has been contributing to the welfare of others for most of her professional life. Most recently, Deb worked as executive director at USC Verdugo Hills Hospital Foundation, where she grew fundraising efforts from $500,000 to $1.5 million in just ten short months.
“We couldn’t be more excited to have Deb part of the USANA family,” says USANA Co-CEO Dave Wentz. “And we’re certain with Deb’s vast experience, we’ll be able to expand our efforts and bring even more health and wealth to families who need it most.”
Humanitarian work is vital to USANA. As the company grows, so does its need to give back. That’s why the company is also allocating additional resources to the THF and expanding the administrative team, including the advancement of Brian Paul as THF executive director of communications.
Since its inception in 2012, USANA’s True Health Foundation has raised $4.5 million in cash and products to aid the Children’s Hunger Fund, eight natural disasters, and three educational charities.
