Avon names new COO as cosmetics maker looks to stoke turnround

Avon has appointed a new chief operating officer, the latest in a string of leadership changes as the storied cosmetics seller looks to revive its fortunes.

Jonathan Myers, who has worked at a host of consumer goods companies including Kellogg’s and Procter & Gamble, will become executive vice president and chief operating officer of Avon starting September 1.
