Morinda Recognized with 2015 Economic Leadership Award

Health firm Morinda Inc. has been named a recipient of the 2015 Economic Leadership Award by the American Economic Institute.

Based on annual business surveys and industry research, the award honors companies for achieving measurable success within their category and local business environment—particularly in the areas of customer service, product quality and ethical practices.

“Morinda has consistently demonstrated a high regard for upholding business ethics and company values,” an AEI representative stated. “This recognition marks a significant achievement as an emerging leader among various competitors and is setting benchmarks that the industry should follow.”

The Utah-based company recently presented the results of its anti-aging and other wellness products at the 12th International Symposium on the Maillard Reaction, held in Tokyo. The Maillard Reaction is one step in the formation of advanced glycation end-products (AGEs) in the body. Morinda’s Director of Research, Brett West, discussed how noni—the powerhouse ingredient behind several of the company’s products—helps to fight premature aging, illness and disease caused by AGEs.

In addition to promoting its supplements within the scientific community, Morinda has made it simpler for independent sellers to market the products with the recent introduction of its TruAge Operating System. In a statement, Morinda said the custom marketing and lead management tool has already helped to boost sales performance.

“Morinda is heading into its Second Era of Growth,” Shon Whitney, VP of Marketing, said in a statement. “Our Independent Product Consultants are seeing unprecedented sales numbers and incredible success.”
