USANA Strengthens Leadership with New Appointments and Roles

SALT LAKE CITY, May 5, 2017 /PRNewswire/ — USANA Health Sciences (NYSE: USNA) announces new appointments and roles in various leadership positions, which include the appointment of chief executive officer Kevin Guest to the company’s board of directors, the promotion of Doug Hekking to chief financial officer, and the role of Paul Jones to focus solely as the chief leadership development officer. These moves look to strengthen the company’s leadership and provide comprehensive support from the management team and board.

“It is an honor to be named to USANA’s board of directors and I look forward to working with them as a board member to further USANA’s vision and impact around the world,” said Mr. Guest. “Being a member of both the board of directors and management team at USANA allows me the unique opportunity to create a closer tie between the two—which can only help in building a better USANA.”

USANA’s new chief financial officer Doug Hekking recently held the position of executive vice president of finance and has served the company in several management positions, including as chief financial officer between May 2011 and December 2012. He has been with the company since 1992.

“I have had the great pleasure of working closely with Doug for 25 years,” continued Mr. Guest. “He has been a key asset to USANA and has made significant contributions to our growth in multiple capacities within the company. We are pleased to welcome him back into the CFO role.”

The company would also like to acknowledge Paul Jones for his years of service as both chief financial officer and chief leadership development officer. Mr. Jones can now concentrate exclusively on his role as chief leadership development officer. In this position, Mr. Jones leads the human resources and organizational development of the company worldwide.
