( OTCQX : YGYI ) (www.YGYI.com), a global direct marketer of nutritional and lifestyle products, and also a vertically-integrated producer of gourmet coffees for the commercial, retail, and direct sales channels, today announced their agenda for the upcoming See The Change Convention 2016 at the Salt Palace Convention Center in Salt Lake City, Utah, site of Youngevity’s first convention nearly 20 years ago.
The Convention will begin with registration on Wednesday, September 7, and conclude on Saturday, September 10.
During the registration period on Wednesday, Youngevity’s “Be The Change Foundation” will be the first activity for many of the distributors who have volunteered to partake in community service scheduled from 8am until 8pm preceding the general sessions. Distributors and corporate staff will band together in service with one of Youngevity Be The Change Foundation’s supported charities, “My Story Matters.” The Youngevity team will visit two locations and interview children to build books of their lives documenting their hopes for the future, all at no cost to them. The morning session is a visit to a local high school where children refugees from over 76 countries are fulfilling their dreams to gain an education, and the afternoon session is a local homeless shelter where over 200 children reside on any given day.
For many attending the convention, this will be a first opportunity to meet in person, work with, and attend presentations from Youngevity’s new management hires and C-level executives. Youngevity has hired a total of 10 key management members to fill existing and newly created positions within their corporate structure since late 2015.
Among the highlights of this event, Youngevity’s will unveil its new technology platform, featuring a new distributor website which will facilitate frictionless order processing directly to customers, enhanced in house customer sales, analytics, and support and strategy training sessions which will target converting social media to social selling.
General sessions and breakout groups begin on Thursday and will center around four major topics: Personal Empowerment, Business Building, Product Training, and Tools and Resources. Dr. Joel Wallach, Co-Founder of Youngevity, will help kick off Thursday morning’s personal empowerment discussions followed on Friday by two special training sessions with Steadman Graham.
The convention will also feature various celebrity and guest speakers including two keynote speakers: Huffington Post Columnist, author and behavioral investigator Vanessa Van Edwards (on Friday) and humorist, television host and bestselling author Rita Davenport (on Saturday). These motivators will be preceded on Thursday by Celebrity Ambassadors, featuring actress, producer and author Marilu Henner and former Dallas Cowboy All Pro Wide Receiver Drew Pearson.
Distributors who have excelled within their field will be honored with awards for various categories. Rookie of the Year Award, Clutch Award, Rebound Award, Trainer of the Year, and the Presidential Award of Excellence are a sampling of honors that will be conferred on distributors for outstanding achievements.
